Abstract and Scope
Abstract

The agency created this file to assist users of monthly and annual import data and provide a central source for geopgraphic codes. This series contains records crossreferencing geographic codes and their descriptions. The file includes codes and descriptions for countries, states, U.S. Customs Districts, and ports. The file in this series is usable as electronic code tables with the 2005 data from the series "Annual Export Data Bank Files" (ARC Identifier 566332), "Annual Import Data Bank Files" (ARC Identifier 566340), and "Export Non-Contiguous Data Bank Files" (ARC Identifier 566342).

This data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC). See the ARC catalog entry for this series for more information on this data and how to order it.
